i think it looks great... and i've liked each of his collections so far more than the previous.

What are you talking about? He's only had 2...this being his second.

Reminds me of Armani at his height in the 80's (think American Gigolo)

When I was first flipping through the looks, it was a bit Armani to me as well...not as good at the Gig phase but yeah...

I really wonder if people would actually give him as much credit as he enjoys now without knowing that he had been hedi's assistant at ysl and dior... the attempt to put his menswear on women doesn't work well for me, the proportions are horribly 1980ies looking, with the big shoulderpads (obviously not meant to fit a women's frame)... I find those pleated full-legged balloon trousers equally horrible looking, by the way :/. Does anybody agree with me that he should rather improve the menswear instead of rushing into the opposite sexes' direction?

I have to agree, the clothes on the women simply do not work. It just looks ill-fitting and it seems to me as though the suit was just thrown on to emphasise the word 'unisex', which I believe KVAs clothes are not.
I'm rather disappointed, was expecting better really..

I also agree with tricot. However, I don't feel it's bad. It's just a non-event, but so is most of Veronique Branqhuino does, for example. It has its own place.

Kris Van Assche, came up with a fresh point of view on the boy/girl thing - and on the 1980s. With only female fashion editors sitting front row and "Hello Girls!" as the show's title, the designer was inspired by "American Gigolo." Couples - former models on the female side - wore smart, his-'n-hers tailoring. Van Assche, a rising star, said he "wanted everything matching - very clean and tidy." The actress Tilda Swinton called the show "fresh and modern."

Bland and boring...digging up a few retired female models from their graves doesn't really make it any better. His background has definitely helped him to gain attention, but is the stuff selling at all? I never see anyone wearing it and there seems to be plenty of Kva clothes left for the sales. His style might have drifted even further apart from Dior Homme, but now it looks quite like Neil Barrett and the beefy choice of men doesn't help to make it look modern either.
