Thanks for pointing to the site, AnnaKarina! Yeah, I agree that you have really great taste.

Kristen Mcmenamy was one of my fave along with Linda Evanelista in the 90's. Mcmenamy has a very unique and strong look as well as personality.

I think I've still kept this editorial from Oct '92 Vogue in my files.

i saw kirtsen m in a shop in London a couple of years ago & it was funny because she really wasn't what I expected. I think she is one of these models who just makes a really strong image - she knows how to create that image & her features really work in that medium but in real life its less striking. Its quite odd!

yes, i can imagine. it's similar with actors, i know some that look absolutely normal on the street and then change into firework and chaos on the stage. i think it's brilliant. what i like about her is that she can slip into so many roles but you would always recognize her.
