Vanessa Paradis was the first actress to appear at Chanel’s pre-Cruise dinner for Karl Lagerfeld quickly followed by Clémence Poésy, Rachel Bilson and Anna Mouglalis.

Under a canvas marquee, 200 guests were seated at three long wooden tables well-charged with red and white checked table mats and hearty servings of simple French food.

Blake Lively – in pearl gray Chanel Couture – suited the event’s relaxed tone by letting loose with neighbors Lagerfeld and Jefferson Hack.
