Kristen Stewart

awh. i seriously can't take this anymore! I want to see the movie, now.

Some fan got to meet her and wrote about her experience

Ok so I wasn't planning on it, but I had this weird gut feeling that if I drove back to the WTTR set, I would get to meet Kristen. I know that sounds like total bull, but it's true. So, I drove back to the set and parked, and then I decided to just sort of play dumb. I approached a security guard and asked him "What's going on here? Are they shooting a music video or something?" So then he said "No, they're shooting a movie called Welcome to the Rileys." Then I said "OH is that the movie with KRISTEN STEWART?!" And he saw that I got really excited and said "Yes it is. She's actually in her trailer just over there if you want to meet her." So I absolutely freaked out and walked right over to where the trailers were at base camp. One of the trailers had its door open, and as I walked by, I looked in and saw KRISTEN JUST SITTING RIGHT THERE!

So I kind of peeked my head in and knocked, and said "Hey, I'm really sorry to bother you, but I'm a huge fan of yours..." And then Kristen said "Oh hey, you can come in." She was sitting there with two men, I think one was her manager or someone like that or crew members or something, they were really nice too.

I asked if I could get her autograph, and she said "Of course". I got out my Teen Vogue with her on the cover that I'd kept in my purse from yesterday and then I realized that I forgot a pen. So I asked if they had one, but they didn't. Kristen was like "Oh, I could go and get one for you" but I didn't want to bother her anymore, so I just said "Oh no that's ok" and I asked if I could get a picture with her and she said of course, so we took a picture together (it's on my photobucket, but I cut myself out for internet safety purposes, etc..). She said "sure, but I look like a total crackhead right now, but if you don't mind then sure." And I said of course I didn't mind, I looked pretty gross myself.

Kristen was wearing really baggy jeans and a big dark bluish t-shirt. And, I know everyone says this and it's so obvious if you've seen pictures of her or her movies but she is TINY! Not just really skinny, but she seemed pretty short too. I don't know if it was her posture or something but she was definitely NOT 5'7.

So after we took the picture she asked me if I went to NOCCA and how old I was a stuff. I said how I was so excited to meet her I was shaking and how talented I thought she was, and she was super nice, just like "oh thank you so much." And then one of the two guys in the trailer said "Your friends are never going to believe this!" And I said "I KNOW! They're going to be SO MAD!" They all thought that was hilarious and laughed. Then she got called to go back to set, so I turned to leave, and said thanks. As I was walking out, one of the guys said "Go see TWILIGHT!" and then I thought that was so funny and turned back and was like "Who isn't?" And they all laughed.

Then, as I was turning the corner to go back to my car, I heard someone yell "Hey!" and I looked back and saw her jogging over toward me. She had my Teen Vogue, which I'd forgotten in her trailer. She was gave it back to me and said "Here, you forgot this, I thought you might want it back." And I said "oh thank you so much" and then we said "Bye" and I went back to my car. I pretty much started hyperventilating I was so excited!
So, now to dispel any rumors of Kristen being a b*tch or arrogant or rude. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. She was SO INCREDIBLY NICE!!! If she had been really rude or obnoxious or something, I would've been completely honest and said so, no matter how big of a fan I am. But, she was so sweet! She was even considerate enough to chase after me and give me back my magazine, or to go find a pen, so that she could sign it. I don't think other stars would've been that nice. And she was so sweet the whole time I was talking to her. I never felt like she was talking down to me or being stuck-up or anything. She was really genuinely nice, and very cool. Now, although I never thought this could be possible, I'm an even bigger Kristen Stewart fan!

the same fan meet her another time:

And she remembered me! Well, obviously because I had met her just the night before. My friends were really jealous that I'd met her without them, so they made me promise to take them to back to the set. We decided to just drive over one more time yesterday and test our luck. WE WERE LUCKY! We walked over to the trailers, and the door to her trailer was open AGAIN, and she was sitting right there AGAIN and one of my friends peeked her head in and said hi and asked if we could come in. She said of course we could, so we went into her trailer and talked to her for a little bit and we got another picture taken.
My two friends walked into the trailer first, and I was right behind, and when she saw me she was like "Oh hey again haha!" So, SHE introduced HERSELF to my friends and said "Hey, I'm Kristen"(as if we didn't know that already! haha)and shook their hands and learned their names too. I had my Vanity Fair AND a sharpie with me this time, so she signed it for us and wrote our names (asking us how to spell them, just so she could make sure she got them exactly right -although we have really easy names to spell)and then she said she didn't know what else to write, so she wrote "Yay!" which was funny. Then, we took another picture. She said to tell everyone that the bruises on her legs were fake in case people started freaking out! So then I totally played dumb again and was like "Oh yeah, I heard this was a really intense movie" and she said "yeah, it is really intense!" Then she sat back down in her chair where she was sitting before, eating trail mix and drinking a red bull.
We asked her how long she'd been in town, and she said she'd been there about 2-3 weeks and she was supposed to stay in here for about 6 weeks total because then she was going to Europe for Twilight. We thought that was really cool, and she said she was excited. Then she said she really like New Orleans and she was actually here a couple of years ago shooting another movie for about 6 (months or weeks? I don't remember which she said) and she had a really good experience.
So then I remembered that some of my other friends were obsessed with Twilight/Edward/Robert Pattinson and were really mad at me for not asking her about him the previous night. So, I said "My friends are going to kill me if I don't ask you what it was like working with 'ROBERT PATTINSON'" (I said it really sarcastically with funny fangirl expressions and I put my hand really dramatically on my heart). Kristen started laughing and said "Oh it was GREAT" and then she was really sarcastic and said "HE'S SOOOO HOTT!" It was really funny. But, then she said "No, Rob's really cool, he's a good friend. You know, I'm actually the one who hired him." She didn't really elaborate, but I think that means she had a lot of input in choosing him as the best actor for Edward, maybe she even got to make the full choice.
So then my friend asked her which movie she liked better: WTTR or Twilight? She started shaking her head and I said "Oh you can't ask her that" and she said "Yeah, I mean, they're just completely different." So then one of my friends asked what the movie was about. Then it seemed almost like she got in full interview mode haha and she started explaining it really eloquently, like she'd really thought about this movie which was very cool, sort of like Kristen in her element. She gave a somewhat long shpeel about the movie, and I don't remember her EXACT words, but it went something like this: "James Gandolfini plays this man who lost his daughter in a really horribly car accident, and he's very torn up over it and has had a hard time coping with it. Then he goes down to New Orleans for a plumbing convention and he meets this young woman and she sort of, I don't know triggers something in him, she just really looks like, well, she really reminds him or makes him think of his daughter.

She's sort of like a street kid, doesn't really have a home, a stripper (we thought it was really funny how casually, and de-emphasized she mentioned the stripper part, because that's pretty much all anyone associates were her role in this movie), she has a lot of problems too, and James Gandolfini and his wife sort of try to help her out...." She gave a really good explanation and it was very interesting to hear her take on the story. We thought it was funny that she never mentioned that SHE was playing the young woman/street kid/stripper, but I guess we'd just asked what the movie was about and not specifically about her character. It was sort of implied that that was her role.
So then we asked her if she was working a lot and if she had time to sort of be a tourist in New Orleans and she said she was doing a lot of work but she had gotten a chance to explore a little, definitely a lot the last time she was here (for the Yellow Handkerchief). Then one of my friends told her that if she needed anyone to show her around or anything, she could ask us, hahaha. We started laughing. And she was like "haha, thanks." It was really funny because it was just a really typical thing for my friend to offer that, and she asked it really awkwardly.
But then we told Kristen how we were locals. And, we told her we'd lived in New Orleans our entire lives and she thought that was incredibly cool. But then we also talked about the 3 months when we couldn't live here because of Katrina and she got this really serious, sad look on her face, and nodded in a really nice way, like she really cared and the whole Katrina disaster really touched her. After that, we said goodbye and left, my friends in complete shock.
So, I think that was probably my last major set visit. They're taking the weekend off, so I might drive back over to the Marigny when it's more-or-less empty, so I can get closer to the house they're using as Mallory's and take some better pictures of it for you all. I mean, I know we like clearly stalked the set, but we don't want to cross over onto full-on creepy, potentially dangerous stalker territory.
So I added the photo- sorry it's more cut-out because she actually put her arms around us, so it was harder to crop us out. But here:

Anyway, it was a really great experience meeting her (twice!), and I'll never forget it. Kristen is an extremely nice, beautiful person, and insanely talented. I really look forward to seeing all of the work she does in her career.

shes cute.
i would like to chill with her.
she seems fun.

yea i remember saying that a few of her relatives used to live with her family and she calls them her brothers even though they aren't. im guessing taylor is her cousin.

i love this quote from her, it reminds me of myself
I couldn't deal with my **** being all over the place. And people wouldn't be interested, honestly. I'm not like, I just went to this crazy party and I was just arrested and now I'm out and I feel so much better and I'm in love- Are you kidding me?

Lately I haven't liked her style as much, but she is such a natural beauty. Although I prefer her with blonde hair.
