I'm so excited for her album to drop, I just heard about her recently and I love her I don't get all the hate, those hipster blogs are just sad cause she's not as underground as they want her to be otherwise they'd have to /gasp/ admit they like something mainstream

^It's weird, I've heard some great live performances from her and then others (like this one) are really quite off. I think she still gets very nervous.

Anyway, her make up is always so perfect! Not so sure about the nails...

Gotta say I love the nails though. Of course, because they fit her style. In the makeup/hair/jewelry aspects Lana is always pretty much perfect, I think.

Now about Jools Holland, I don't get why I was bothered by that performance at the time. I watched it again and the changes of tone were not bad at all...

I don't know if this was mentioned yet but Lana del Rey signed with Next Model Management.

Lana has a really beautiful voice,but she needs more practice. She needs to study. Sometimes it seems like she doesn't know how to personalize the song and goes random,searching for the right note like in the last video. When she sings without trying to give a "touch of originality" to the songs all works perfectly.

The performance on Jonathan Ross was certainly a bit 'off'.......definitely in comparison to her great turn on the Jools Holland show.
I still thought she did well, especially with the band not quite on it, and a very distracting set.
