Lanvin F/W 2023.24 Paris

Lanvin has lost all that chic French brand identity reflected in a woman who could go to the bakery to buy a bread but would do it in high heels and wearing her prettiest dress, not missing a chance to be well dressed no matter what!

With the exception of a few dresses, this could be any non-descript house. The menswear is a joke, especially compared to what Lucas did before.

It's a very safe collection, the women's outerwear is the only good part of this collection. The menswear I can take it or leave it. And I like to look 46 red dress, it's quite fabulous.

I think it's only a matter of time before they announce the departure of Bruno. The brand didn't even mention its name on social media for months. Which I found to be quite a shame because he has so much potential the brand is somewhat coming back to the conversation but the suits don't realize that they ruined their decision.

I love the purple croc-embossed coat but it’s clear that something is doing on at Lanvin.
I wonder how much Bruno was involved in it. If he was, this clearly shows that he isn’t happy.
I think it’s time for me to give up on this house. They have here someone who made them matter again and they aren’t nurturing him.

^Well, Bruno has less freedom since he has a new boss who used to be at Theory and they don’t get along very well. Ludivine Poiblanc has been brought as a consultant and she has a lot of power as she is very close to him.

The collection is much more her vision than Bruno’s. I don’t think he will last neither.

I feel sorry for him .. this is so nondescript and he’s so much better than this

Someone PLEASE explain wtf this is. I'm gonna sound like such a boomer, but Lanvin used to be the House that you could COUNT ON producing collections BRIMMING with charm and personality. (Who remembers F/W 2008?) This is so painfully basic, I could be looking at anybody.

I think, like pop music, it's inevitable that mainstream fashion would eventually converge and look more and more cookie-cutter.
