Thanks guys... I feel a bit better now... I was thinking that I've seen quite a lot of patent leather in the S/S shows this year, so maybe they'll come out w/ some patent bags again this year? *fingers crossed*

Jun, in my search I did find some other Lanvin bags that were on sale. In case you're interested, I attached the pics the SA sent me. These are both at the Cabazon outlet. The purple one's $499 down from 1890, the beige one's 799 down from 1370.

Do you guys think it would be weird to call the UK Lanvin store and see if they know what kind of bags are going to be out next season?

i just checked bobellisshoes.com, and they have a brown patent one for $1046.25:

click the "lavin" link...

i would definitely call and see what bags they have for next season...
maybe they can send you a pdf of the styles or you can get on the list...

Thanks for the link girls (karma!) The brown patent one is gorg, but I promised myself not to get any more brown bags (almost all my bags are that color). It's beautiful, though. I think the navy one might be a different bag?

As soon as my finals are over, I think I will try calling the stores and finding out what colors of S/S bags they'll have. I searched the thread archives, and it seems that the Hero/Heroine have been out since around '03, so it looks like it might be one of those "signature" bags that they keep coming out w/ in different colors and fabrics. When I find out, I'll post them here!

it is a different bag, not sure what year or the style name...

i still like the brown style the best, but i'm not really a "brown" bag person...
most of my bags are black, grey or navy (or some variation)...
