I thought she was taller... love her for LV, she's perfect! way better than Madonna...
I really don't like the ads with Lara but anything is better than that photoshop-massacre they published before.nst.com.myStyle: Stone’s Age

Louis Vuitton’s first ad campaign for the second decade of the 21st century will star a model who is bringing back curves to fashion. SYIDA LIZTA AMIRUL IHSAN writes. MOVE over, Madonna. After fronting Louis Vuitton’s ad campaign for two seasons, the 51-year-old pop icon has been dropped, making way for 26-year-old Dutch model Lara Stone who will star in the brand’s Spring/Summer 2010 campaign.
Maybe the brand wants someone younger or curvier — Stone’s rise to fame in the modelling world is seen as a return of curves to fashion — but whatever the reason, Stone fits Vuitton’s bill.
“(Photographer) Steven Meisel and I decided to create a green set, and we chose a model who is sexy, beautiful, glamorous and young,” Louis Vuitton artistic director Marc Jacobs said.
“Because the collection loosely took its cues from the idea of the New Age traveller, we decided to create a green, outdoorsy set that would evoke a spirit of peace and love. To model the clothes, we wanted a modern, iconic, sexy beauty ... it had to be Lara Stone,” he added.
Stone has walked on the catwalks of Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Prada, among others. She was also featured on the May cover of American Vogue with fellow models Liya Kebede, Anna Jagodzinska, Natalia Vodianova, Caroline Trentini, Raquel Zimmermann, Natasha Poly, and Isabeli Fontana as one of the current faces in modelling.

Lara Stone has been dubbed “the voluptuous new embodiment of the Louis Vuitton woman”.
W Magazine calls her “Fashion It Girl” and UK Vogue proclaimed her as “girl of the year”. The Guardian said Stone “harks back to the days of the ‘supers’ when models looked like women, not girls.” Stone wears a UK size 8, as opposed to UK size 2 with other models, so although she is not curvy in the normal sense, she is curvier than most of her modelling peers.
In the five visuals for Louis Vuitton photographed by Meisel, Stone is pictured in a series of Bardot-esque poses on a bed of moss and ferns, surrounded by white doves.
The cool, fresh background throws into relief the vivid colours of the new collection and accessories, including metallic Monogram canvas and sun-bleached Monogram denim bags, furry foxtail charms, hardware-inspired jewellery and wooden clogs embellished with rustic tufts of fur.
“It was a wonderful shoot,” Jacobs said. “Doves were flying, the atmosphere was sexy and magical, and the result is a set of images that are desirable, colourful, whimsical and, of course, luxurious.”
Antoine Arnault, Louis Vuitton’s head of communications said this is a very strong campaign, reflecting the vibrant, optimistic mood of the Spring/Summer 2010 show.
“We are delighted to continue our partnership with Steven Meisel, and to welcome Lara Stone as the voluptuous new embodiment of the Louis Vuitton woman,” he said.
The Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2010 advertising campaign will break in the February 2010 issues of magazines worldwide. A behind-the-scenes video of the shoot will go online at louisvuitton.com.
