Hi everyone 
!
So this is my first time starting a thread so here goes nothing...
I was just wondering if anyone else had heard of the le cool guide books (Barcelona, Lisbon, London, Amsterdam and Madrid) or their weekly email magazines (Barcelona, Rome, Milan, Madrid, London, Lisbon, Amsterdam and Istanbul)?
If any of you live in those cities I can't recommend them enough I'm from London and as a local I thought it was amazing. You feel as if you're being let in on all these secrets about the cities that only locals know. And the graphics and art don't hurt making the book even cooler, I was even tempted to put it in the art & design thread but thought best not to.
Anyway I just wanted to know if anyone else shared my enthusiasm about them
. Or knew of any other good guide books that were an alternative to your usual time out, lonely planet etc...
