Looked, found a thread on toning, etc. nothing on this, so if it needs to be merged........

Shaving? Creams? Waxing?

How often do you find it necessary?

Wax defintely...every 2 weeks average...i am lucky by the time two weeks comes my hair is almost 2cm..my hair dont grow rapidly:) and before I wax, i stop mostiurizing my legs for three days so it will be come dry and when when its waxed all the hair is removed even the tinnest ones...:)

not many people do this...im not sure why... bt epilating is quite good. It is painful at first but you quickly get use to it and does not hurt anymore. Hair doesnt have to be as long as you need for waxing and it stays away for the same period of time...great investment.

i epilady as well. I started waxing first so the hair was finer and now i epilady. Your right it does hurt at first but you get used to it and i love it now! easier than waxing and you don't get the feral course hair when you shave. Definetly worth it!

i pluck my hair :) cause i have the time to.

no just kidding, :D i shave, cause i find it a lot faster compared to waxing. but once you shave, your hair grows back in days.

oo i'm interested in laser removal! could you tell me a bit about it? does it hurt, does it actually really work??

I still use wax (once wekly), but I think I will try laser removal.

yep.. i do

i call it epilady cause thats what mine is called, but its the same thing. Much better - i reccomend highly!

^ I talked to my friend today who uses it, and she says she gets ingrowing hair with it...:ninja:

i used to wax and get ingrown hair from that, so i dont think it really depends on the hair removal method? you just have to keep exfoliating, oh and theres also products to prevent ingrown hair.

I pretty much only wax my legs. It's annoying letting them grow out, it takes forrrevvver. I'll shave if I have to look suuuper nice for something, but I usually just wax. I've been waxing for years, and I have bald patches on my legs from it!! To avoid ingrowns I just exfoliate a lot.

I'm using an epilator...
well the firtst time it was very painful but imo it works faster than waxing and you don't have to buy new waxing stuff.... I did'nt get any ingrown hair at all...so I just had good experiences with it.......

Shaving in the winter and epilating in the summer but I think that I'll start waxing soon.

Lazer! especially if your hairy- no more ingrowth & as far as I see, lazers best results are in the legs area

I epilate. It hurt the first time, but you get used to it. I've only had a few ingrown hairs, but I had it worse when I used to shave.

Has anyone tried sugaring? It is like waxing, but you use a mix of sugar, water and lemon juice with linen strips, so you don't need to keep buying strips; you just wash all the sugaring stuff off and use it again. I heard it is much better than waxing.
