I'd actually like Olivier T for Balenciaga haha his early Rochas collections had a definite sense of volume and old fashioned romance.

Yeah, that was more of a serious suggestion ... if you think of the heritage collection Ghesquiere did, I can completely see him working in that vein. And I don't think he belongs at a monster house.

Half of these don't seem so far fetched.... Rather exciting! I wish designers did more collaborating with major houses the way they do for fast fashion. Imagine capsule collections like Rei Kawakubo for Chanel, Raf for Helmut Lang, Muccia for Burberry... Considering most houses make the bottom line with accessories and cosmetics, it would shake things up a bit to produce limited yet interesting collections of ready to wear.

They did something quite similar at Sonia Rykiel for spring 2009. Nathalie (her daughter) asked some designers to design an outfit inspired by Sonia. They didn't produced them unfortunately...

I hope Michele's tenure will be longer as 3-4 years, it is still difficult to buy some items -and i don't speak about Sale time but about actual collections

I don't think the people get boring easily, the best example is Chanel by Karl Lagerfeld.
