Lily Allen dresses down for night out with her mother (except for the thigh-high boots, that is)

Lily Allen let her boots do the talking on a night out in London last night as she headed out with her mother.
The singer dressed down in a grey top and black trousers, but spiced up her look with a pair of on trend thigh-highs.
She was joined by her film producer mother Alison Owen.

And it was very much a case of like mother, like daughter, with both women looking somewhat surly as they left the Ivy Club last night.
Perhaps they had got out on the wrong side of bed, because they didn't look much happier as they were driven off in a waiting car.
A make-up free Lily sat in front of her mother in the motor while looking intently at her phone.
Maybe she was checking her texts, but she certainly wasn't tweeting after committing Twitter 'suicide' last month.

The 24-year-old made her final post on the site on September 28, exclaiming: 'I am a neo-luddite, goodbye'.
Neo-Luddism is a personal philosophy against technology, so clearly Miss Allen has some issues with the social networking craze at present.
It could well be do to with the abuse she received on her blog which she set up to campaign against illegally downloading music recently.
In the end, she shut the site down.
