These Emily in Paris numbers for the new season are absolutely abominable, she has better taste in her daily life judging by some of the candids, her stylist definitely has a riskier and more modern approach to fashion (like that Miu Miu number above).. wonder if she's allowed to add any input for the sake of likability?.. this is just bad, it's not eccentric or yeah, risky, the way it was in SATC (like the Balenciaga numbers she'd put the characters in), it just looks cheap and so outdated, like something you'd find in a sad boutique called 'fashion' of some godforsaken suburb. I mean, that look with the red miniskirt..? more like Emily hits Fashion Week Tbilisi.

It's sad when companies just blindly rely on someone (like Patricia) based on the reputation of something she did over 20 years ago.. people age, sometimes they just don't have that much interest to connect to the current context. This show would get a lot less criticism if, despite the silly plot, the styling was flawless, it would also make Lily's character and work as an actress a lot more pleasant. When a scene opens with that matching dress and hat, you want to give her no chances even though it's not her fault lol..

I'm not beyond watching a lowbrow show for entertainment purposes, but I have no idea how anyone can stomach Season 2 of Emily in Paris who is above the age of 16.

The caricatures of the French are too much, the plot-line unbelievable, everyone is vapid and empty. I also find Lily exceptionally boring as an actress, the whole cutesy thing is nauseating and she doesn't have chemistry with any of the love interests.

As MulletProof mentioned the fashion is atrocious. Even the blonde girl who plays Camille dresses like an American cliche of a French woman versus a chic Parisian girl. Too much makeup, and curled hair, on everyone. Reminds me of when Lauren Conrad & Whitney Port would visit Paris on The Hills. Emily's outfits are painfully haphazard -- as are Carrie's on the Sex & the City reboot. I agree MP, Patricia's time and knack have passed.

I watched Season 1 during the pandemic (boredom), but flipped off Season 2 halfway through the first episode. Good riddance.
