I really like some of this -- but I fear that she'll be constantly compared to her dad with this collection

:woot::heart: Ohh, I'm loving it! The draping in this is fantastic.

In some of her collections I think the Yohji comparison is valid and even expected and provoked on her behalf, but this one is more Limi, and even more Demeulemeester influenced than by her father, I think. I think it's gorgeous

here are some closer up images:

inaya, that's exactly what i am thinking as well. less papa yohji but seems more a very heavy ann d. influence....maybe mixed with a little Lutz. but i have to say,she executed everything very well...with her own spin.

obviously being a fan of ann d. this is really up my street. so many things i would like to wear. it definitely feels more "cute" than neither yohji or ann. which to me is totally fine. i always see her clothes like say...the anna sui of a much darker aesthetic. not actually aesthetically like anna sui, but the feel of easy youthful simple. nothing too heavy or complicated

she's got a great style
looks really amazing what she can do with a piece of black

but huh? the light in the show looks horrible to me

More polished than her usual, but I'm afraid she's still not in the Ann D./Yohji Y./CdG league. It looks like something you'd see in the mid-priced boutiques in the crowded shopping streets of Tokyo/Seoul/Hong Kong.

i just have to say that ann demeulemeester does not have a copyright on a certain look...
frankly- ann's whole aesthetic is derived from PATTI SMITH...
which is what this actually reminds me of...
and certainly patti smith is an inspiration to a myriad of people...

but my faves here are the looks that have nothing to do with that actually..
i really like the fringed short jumper with the button-y jkt over top
and the slvls coats are painfully good...
basically the stuff at the end in post #13...

that tunic dress in post #5, 4th pic is also my idea of heaven...
and i'd wear that fringe-y(dont' know what to call it) red sweater dress - though i'd choose the blk version...
it reminds me of a native american chest covering - don't know what that is called either...
^_^..

but those maribou suspenders have GOT to go...
:yuk:......
