i got so carried away with that sleeveless sweater that i almost forgot...

what do we know about the footwear!?..
are those knee high fabric boots that look like knee high socks???
cause i THINK they are.......
and i LOVE that!!!...

hussein chalayan did an ankle version recently...
but i don't think they were actually produced...
i wonder if these will be...

i've been looking for something like that to replace some that i had to give up some years ago...

the great thing about this brand is that everything they have shown on the runway goes into production.
except the hairy headphones from this spring. these are the first item in their history that turned out to be props for the show. it seems that she really wanted to produce them, but the maker decided not to in the end because of some technical problem.
so the "boots" will be in stores in a few months.
yes they are covered with the ribbed cotton/nylon knee high socks.
strictly, it's like the socks with built-in pumps whose outsoles and heels are not covered with anything. besides black and navy, they also come in red.

The first section of the collection looks very much water downed YSL with the femininity/masculinity with a touch of Comme des Garcons's deconstruction method toward the later sections. I'm not impressed with the other sections of the collection due to the styling. Those knee high socks/boots are not helping the collection at all. I think they make the dresses look cheap.

over all, I like this collection a lot. Reminds me a lot of yohji yamamoto's stuff. Like half of one top on one side..and a jacket on the other. The same with the askew suits. And the billowing materials all belted together pieces.
