she makes great coats. those are always my first draw. i like their plushness, but the leather one is particularly super. are those leg warmers with straps? so cool.

Scott, it's a waistcoat styled with the separate black dress. and yes it can also be worn like a dress.
it's available in black as well.

so glad i cam back to this thread...
i missed the whole second page!!!...


the legwarmers are AMAZING!...
that is what i saw and loved on the runway...
i like the ring and belt as well...
the accessories are often really good...
i remember some jewelry from some years ago that was with feathers and stones and was also so lovely...

i have never seen any of the accessories for sale in the US though...
and now that there is no yohji store.
well...i guess there is even less chance of seeing more limi...

the amazing news is that i found the blk sweater w. the two straps- (the one i love love loved)...yipee!!!...
it's a year later, but i don't care!...i ordered it yesterday and i cannot wait for it to arrive...


i like how she has developed a certain language and now you can identify certain elements that are repeated in her work...
like the drawstring dresses...
*i have one of those...and i love it so much...but it's really long and voluminous...
i like that she has continued that style but done shorter, sportier versions...
i particularly like the short grey spaghetti strap version...it's almost like a tunic really...

the big buttons are also something i see her repeating...
along with the vests, ties, and ruffles...

i really enjoyed this collection and can appreciate it more now that i've seen it pulled apart and styled differently etc...
