Her father was Mark Gastineau, a football player. He also had a kid with Bridgette Nelson. Apparently he is a terrible terrible father and was kind of abusive and cheated on her mom. But his last name can still be used to PR albeit the fact they don't get along at all.

Regarding her height, I'm pretty sure she is around 5 ft 6 to 5 ft 7. There was one segment on FashionTV last year before her runway show and they showed her speaking with Adrienne from ANTM and Adrienne asked 'how tall are you', and Brittany goes 'i'm 5 ft ...*3 second pause* 9'. We all know 5 ft 9 is just the default height for anyone less than 5 ft 9.

she has a really badly proportioned face. Her forehead is too short and narrow, it makes her features look like they are all scrunched up way too high.

I feel like she's forcing the modeling thing a bit too much. I don't think her body type or look is really adequate for the type of high fashion modeling she's trying to pursue.

I saw her downtown yesterday, she was wearing a pair of ugly jeans and a tank top with balletflats and she's not even my height without heels...she;s very long though so maybe thats why the modeling working for her?

Brittny Gastineau was just on "The Look For Less". I guess her and her mom really are "running out of money". They recreated a Michael Kors look (Brittny was already wearing the same shoes as in the picture), and Lisa shopped for accesories while B. and the stylist bought the rest.

By the way, is there going to be a second season (yes, I'll admit, I'm addicted to the show...what do I say?)

Yeah, she strikes me as more of a socialite rather than a credible model. I just don't get her appeal. Besides, she reeks of too-much-publicity.

Brittni is a sweet and wonderful person, a level-headed. I met her at a party once, and she's very, very real. Anti-Paris H, more prettier.
