^I can kinda see why that show would be popular. Even though I don't understand the language, it looks fun.

Yeah this may not be everyone's cup of tea.
Though personally would watch this over the many infamous shows that are available. (I mean we have the real deal here - famous and respected public figures. Not all, but most are legit.)
Even though this show is scripted like most reality shows, this show is more tolerable despite some cliche and injected ludicrousness. Though that's part of the fun/surprising/intriguing factor!
And in Liu's case, I think this is more genuine as Liu is new to this kind of program and presenting herself in this platform to the mass. Also Liu hasn't had a boyfriend before (at least that we don't know), thus makes it much much more authentic and enjoyable to watch. I think Liu was able to translate that into this show for us. Hence the positive reactions.

Siwon is ALSO part of Super Junior M, a sub group of Super Junior (the super popular Korean one) and they comprise of Korean and Chinese members, singing in both Korean and Mandarin. Siwon can speak Chinese (decently but he's definitely not fluent) and people in China love that sort of thing.

I know you were joking and all but ironically I didn't even know who Siwon was until this whole 'We Got Married' thing. I just did a bit of research and now I think they make such a cute couple haha.Why do I get the feeling that you are here for Siwon?

So far, there's no subbed clip out there yet. It seems no Chinese is unwilling to do one, perhaps due to copyrights issue and all? Though there's a few sketchy translation out there. (We also have some members that knows Chinese too.
)
Either way, yeah the Chinese scene isn't at the level of Korean's Hallyu yet. We might not get one till later, later.
