Loewe Mens S/S 2016 : Marc-Andre Turgeo by Steven Meisel

Good grief, the Edna Incredible hair.....
Perhaps when they do the press release we'll be able to make more sense of this.

I don't know about this one. To be blunt it just looks really gay. The pose and the styling is so obvious. Many designers are succeeding in androgyny but I feel like it's one gimmick after another with him. Menswear is the area he's weakest in and that goes for Loewe as well as his own brand. As a gay male I find his menswear highly unappealing and this ad is doing nothing to change my opinion.

OMG I didn't even read the title properly and just realised it was a menswear campaign...:blink::shock:

Hate to say it but actually love this shot. It's striking and futuristic. Technically I'd wish that that red pedestal would have been a little more abstract but overall I kinda love it. Still wouldn't touch these clothes with a ten foot pole though which kinda defeats the purpose I suppose.

That ad reminds me of the editorial of LOVE from 2011, with the Barbie effect.

I love it. At first i didn't see it was by Meisel and found it fascinating, and after realizing it was Meisel I can so see him in this. It marries perfectly the selling of the products (Everything looks amazing) with a cool touch of graphic fantasy. It's beyond fresh.

Neat concept, but it doesn't make the clothes any more desirable to me.

Let's just hope this means that they stopped using vintage Meisel photos juxtaposed with accessory shots.

This ad sells me nothing, not even that handsome model
