Loewe F/W 14.15 by Steven Meisel

Meisel wouldn't be able to produce something similar today even if you paid him seven figures.

I think Balenciaga FW2010 & FW12.13 had a similar vibe to the ´97 editorial (the closeups, beach shots and coloring). So I guess he could come up with something new?

 Probably to recreate it even.
J.W. is getting off on that aesthetic so it seems, that sombre simplicity... In that case, this was a safe bet. However, composition wise, it just looks completely off.

So pretentious and awful...much like everything JW does. For once this actually DOES look like something someone whipped up in MS Paint!

I love that editorial. But I really need to know more about this. Coz it's an old vogue italy editorial with new accessories. I mean. Let's see the "real" outfits campaign, non ?

Hopefully there's more. :) Hoping that they chose Erin O'Connor's solo shot in a Christian Dior green chinoiserie dress.

#1 Ugly bag, looks like those messy paper bags from supermarket.:(

What's the point of chossing these vintage images? This image is meaningful to you has nothing to do with Loewe, Mr Anderson. I just can't understand the logic here...

I don't understand what he's doing with the brand. Everything is so messy and non-coherent.

A Vogue Italia ed as a campaign, a Meisel-lensed campaign for menswear, a capsule collection, a rtw men's presentation... Please, focus!!

This is also part of the campaign:

I think the whole JWAnderson and Loewe thing is so wrong. I feel like Loewe is trying to be cool and edgy like Celine. I miss the old Loewe.

All I want to say is that Vogue Italia ed is epic.

If this is due to budget then they could've easily paid a bum a hot shower and dinner plate and come up with some average.

Copied images, a logo typed in some size 72 font on Word and poor composition.
A lack of effort; I expect nothing less from J. W. Anderson.

I wonder how well this is selling, the pricing is very expensive, 459GBP for zip wallet and 900GBP for a tote bag, almost 2000GBP for a backpack.

you think Saint Laurent is unreasonable, think again people
