Loewe S/S 2020 Paris

Lace and pastels for spring are common place but few could refresh them the way Jonathan's managed here. Jing Wen's dress is such a dream, it looks like she has small suns radiating light over her body, both of the loose dresses with the tiniest floral print are lovely too, the black and white dress on Cara is really intriguing. The grey coat with the rolled up collar also deserves to be mentioned. The stellar looks are the lace gowns with square hips, they are a riff on something he's done many times before but masterfully executed. The lilac one just melted my heart, a flawless look that reminds why I love fashion.

I know it's not perfect, there's some really silly stuff (that look on Lexi will make you look like you looted a maternity wear store ca. 1989 and you're wearing it all at once) but I get really excited going through his shows, everything is so detailed and his choices of materials are always fascinating i.e: navy suede with lace, just fabulous. I understand why someone would find our endless raving over Loewe baffling but what can I say, I'm in love with it.
