It was kinda painful to watch the stream… I thought the collection would never end. So boring and it seems he wasn’t able to explore good concepts. I hated those volumes and prints. There were some good leather work and tailoring but meh…

I’ve enjoyed that collection but he is clearly approaching the end of the possibilities at Loewe. Rooting for him to take over Dior or LV (and then NG straight to Dior). Great accessories and all these eccentric dresses will be translated into sellable commercial pieces.

It has that nice Art/Commerce vibe to it.

And I think that it’s quite easy to read the pieces. The accessories are great.

That being said, even though he has challenged himself quite a bit at Loewe, the last few collections informs a sort of end of a cycle.

He is one of Delphine’s champion so I can totally see her wanting him by her side to lead her era at Dior, much like she chose Nicolas to lead her era at Vuitton.

Great collection. One of the highlights of the whole fashion week.
He continues to surprise us with new textures, treatments, volumes.
Even if his Loewe has become a bit predictable ( a row of Netflix males actors with clown shoes, the white cube with BS contemporary art in the room etc) it's still amazing to see a designer bringing new garment ideas.
Can't wait to see the close-ups.

I cannot imagine JWA at Dior with his take on those peplums being so unflattering that he is just not that one to renovate the bar. If the rumor is true, I would expect a Raf-alike tenure.

Me too: just avoid Dom Pérignon, Veuve Cliquot, Krug, Moët, Chandon, Ruinart, you can go with Bollinger, Roederer, Taittinger, Mumm, Lanson, Laurent-Perrier, Piper-Heidsieck, Vrancken and Pommery.

Does that mean Kim Jones will leave alongside MGC ?
