opening a new couture store and looking for a name for the store. I need some help ? Its such a headache to come up with a stand out name.

Some famous from the french fashion industrie or european industry:cry:

it all depends on where your store is placed, what type of brands you rep, what style will you choose for the deco, its so many things one needs to take in mind before deciding on a brand name..
do it right or just ask a PR office to do this for you, this is something that can make of brake your business, pay the best and get proffesional assistance ;)

I dont know why but I have always thought that "Naieve Rose" or "Garden of Naieve" would be cute names for a clothing shop . I also love the name "Vanilla Dreams" but it really depends on what your store is like:D

ooo thanks lena , holidays and msn seem to be having a negative effect on my spelling !!!:p

Good comments from Lena there. Whereabouts will the store be? What sort of customers are you aiming at? When you say "couture", do you mean "couture" or "prêt-à-porter"? Will it be remaindered stock or up to the minute stuff? If the latter, how did you manage to persuade fashion houses to supply you with couture clothing without having a name for the shop? They tend to be quite difficult when it comes to image, you know. Imagine the CEO of a couture house sending a memo to the business development person asking them why the house's products are being sold in a shop called, for example, Fashion Victim? Imagine some uptight designer throwing the hissy fit to end all hissy fits over this.

A few suggestions right off the top of my head:
  • I Can't Believe It's Not Couture!
  • Terry's House of Chicken and Pantalones.
  • Get Haute of my House! or Haute of my Bed! (I've certainly heard both)
  • Coochie coochie cou...ture.
