Lottie Moss

She's very short and her measurements aren't ideal so she won't even have a career on the runway I'd say. Her look is average and not interesting, she just looks like a typical teenager and it's pretty obvious she's only with Storm because of Kate who she looks nothing like.

I totally agree with that. On the other hand, the same can be said about Cara Delevingne...

I think Cara is a great model though, I know she has connections but she really has a presence in front of the camera and people got to know her for being that model with the eyebrows and not as a celebrity's little sister, the only thing holding her back would be her height but her face makes up for it. :P

Well, I suppose that's a question of taste; I find her face totally boring and average - a pretty girl's face, ok for commercial modeling and catalogue work, but not for high fashion modeling. Especially in combination with her (lacking) height! I'm convinced she only is as successful as she is because of her family heritage and their influence and wealth. But I think we can agree on this: She still is a way better model than Lottie (from what we've seen of Lottie so far).

Didn't she just walked Sonia Rykiel FW2015 ?

The minute I saw that photo I thought, "Which celebutante is this?"

There are more things to do in life than be a model. That's what I think when I see these careers which seem to rest more on a surname rather than their performance in pictures.

You could be a good-looking girl and use your connections to get a great career in the media as a TV presenter or something of that nature, but modelling is a vocation for the truly photogenic, the ones who can really captivate the camera. And there are few people who exemplify that more than Kate Moss.

Sadly, I don't think most of these kids are that ambitious. Modelling is one of the only careers that they can get away with not actually being good due its subjective nature. If they were terrible at presenting, singing, acting, etc. everyone would call them out on it and there is only so far they can get having no talent in those fields. When it comes to modelling, there are those who will endlessly argue that this lot is supposedly no different than 90% of models out there who are bland, dead on camera, and don't work for what they have either. (They're not entirely wrong, but at the same time missing several points.) Plus these celebutantes can walk in the biggest shows, shoot for the best magazines and score major campaigns. Basically they can reach MVP status overnight so to speak.

She's rather pretty for a common girl that you would see on the street but oh my god she stuck out in such a bad way at Sonia Rykiel.

I don't even want to put her in the same category as "celebrity models" because this girl isn't famous in any way. It doesn't look like she's going to grow any time soon, her face isn't enough to make up for the lack of height and of course other things.

The weakest out of all the models from well-known families, in my opinion.

Meh it's for Sonia Rykiel, we all know that brand is struggling and using Lottie has obviously brought attention to the show. They didn't need to use her considering the collection was decent imo. No other designer has used her because they don't need publicity that desperately...I know harsh :ninja:

I really don't understand why all the rather negative comments. It's her first time walking the runway, she looks ok (probably better than many other models I've seen) - she'll definitely develop and change her appearance a bit. I don't think she'll have the same "luck" and success as her sister, notwithstanding, if she intends to be a professional -as in take it serious - I think she can go a be further in this business. Unlike Cara, which is one of the models I strive to see why she's been modeling.

But that's just my opinion, then.

^I would like to see someone give her a makeunder for sure. I don't understand why she bleaches (I assume!) her hair and wears so much makeup. Her claim to fame is being Kate Moss' half sister. Kate was a brunette and wore next to no makeup...

I found her outfit unfortunate... She would look better in some of the other looks.

It's because many girls make it without connections, and there is such a high standard for runway, that Lottie stands out in the worst way possible. The idea that she will change at nearly 18 is not realistic. She is at her final height and her face will not change. Calling Kate's success luck is a little bit of a stretch too. It's when you put the two faces together that you really understand the negativity.

Sorry if I confused anyone - I would like to clear few things. I understand Lottie got into fashion mainly because of her connections. Although I still believe she might change her features, perhaps not drastically - but aging can be such a thing. Again, I too, don't understand why there are certain people modeling.

About me stating Kate's success as "luck" is because - well, what are the chances a completely different looking person (from the standard models at that time) make it huge and also, the way she was discovered. She was just at the right time and the right place - there's no denying. "Luck" is the only lexicon I can think of when it comes to a situation like that. It's about chances, you know? That's what I was referring to. Also, Kate made lots of mistakes during her career and still people stood up for her. She has a huge charisma and unique beauty - that's rare. So yeah, to me, she's "lucky" - as in blessed to have all the "right people" to recognize her potential. It certainly does not happen to most of people

Btw, I more than love Kate Moss, because there's something else about her I can't possibly explain

It's because she doesn't look ok. She looks super short with nothing remarkable about her whatsoever. She looks exactly like what she is, a famous person's relative. I wish her all the best in whatever she does, but from a purely aesthetic perspective she doesn't belong on the runway.

I'm sorry but Cara at 17 (and any other age) and Lottie are on two completely different levels. While Cara certainly got noticed because of her connections, she can really model when she wants to while Lottie just looks like someone you'd see on model mayhem who'd pay for a shoot and suddenly be the girl who casually calls herself a model at any given opportunity.

I'm sure she's a nice girl and there might be people out there who like her as a model and that's totally fine, but people are being negative because she's only there because of Kate.

Exactly what Mahon said. She just doesn't have any model qualites what so ever. She lacks height (severely), her looks aren't unique and body is average. There is nothing striking about her.

A lot of people hate on Kendall Jenner, but she definitely could be called a model if her family wasn't famous...

Lottie - in the cocktail party of Rosa Chá, in Rio de Janeiro [08 April 2015] + model Bruna Hamú

I'm delighted about the fact that she's modeling for a Brazilian brand, because well... I'm from Brazil ^_^
