You know, I wasn't sure if I would because it can be difficult to stay tuned with a film that is so long, but I really liked it. Very romantic and stylish. I fell in love with Louis' character. He was a doll.

Plus, the scene where they dance to the Kinks is worth the watch alone.

dans paris is my favorite of his movies so far that ive seen, though hes hottest in the dreamers

I've seen The Dreamers and Ma Mere. I didn't get to finish Ma Mere. I admit I'm not the best with subtitles as I usually watch movies as I'm on my way to bed so I'm a little tired and don't read as fast. It's not a lack of desire to see him, just lack of access and time.
