i saw him in 'the dreamers', which kinda creeped me out a bit.. but he looks hot anyways!
Live Streaming... The F/W 2025.26 Fashion Shows
(christophe says the movie's characters live in a form of escapism, they have to deal with their feelings, so at certain moments they stop talking and start singing so that they can express themselves trough the songs...)
louis - i've always had some problems with the french cinema in general, and to talk about it... but it's true that i have no idea... in general, i know that a lot of what's being done nowadays is supposed to make people laugh. i know that this is a trend in the french cinema today. laughter, as frequently heard in the theaters, make us feel confident. there's something in the comic movies that make us feel confident. i have noticed this a lot in the french movies nowadays... in "chansons d'amour", i think christophe's idea was to film paris as it is today, very close to reality - that's the impression i have.
(christophe says he was trying to find actors who could sing - he knew louis could, and he knew him really well so he talked to him about the movie, blablabla... he also says louis's charachter was "built" based on other characters that he had already played before, like jonathan from "dans paris".)
louis - a friend of mine told me it was the first time he saw me playing a character who had a job. and this means my friends already see me as a grown yougster(?). i still don't have a beard, but one day it will grow. *mumbles*
but it's true that this was the first time i played a character who had a job. the other ones were students or they just lived day-by-day (i couldn't find a better way to translate this...).
i went to an audition, and then i worked with the movie composer, alex beaupin, with whom i rehearsed, then we went to the studio where we recorded the songs, really fast.
(christophe talks about trying to make a different kind of musical comedy...he believes this movie integrates tradition (renoir, truffaut, eustache...) with this musical thing - suddenly there's a song that suspends the dialogue. he also says it isn't exactly an homage to jacques demy, because demy was inspired by hollywood musicals, and christophe isn't, at all. there's no dance or anything like that...)
i want to run my fingers through his hair (among other other things)
