I must say the coats are exquisit:crush: , in fact, I only like the black cloths! :o And I'm glad about the ballone skirts, I need a big one! BUT everything with some color on it, supershiny, and metallic are not doing it for me. -_- The bags are ok, but I expected more, specially regarding the shoes.

Generally the collection bores me...it's like a badly made prada collection. There are a few exceptions to this I agree w. stylegurrl who mentioned the black trousers w. the silver buttons at the side..they DO look incredible!
And I do have a thing for long gloves  the long dusty green suede gloves in post #12 that sit kinda gathered or wrinkled (?)..I wonder if the LV in Copenhagen might get those..blah by next autumn/winter I'll have a snotty nosed baby not exactly the best pairing with suede gloves

I like it, but not that much. Hanne is right - it smacks of Prada, and not done that well. However, the designs were a lot better than what I was expecting, although I think this shoe looks QUITE painful - I can imagine the straps/edges cutting in...:

It looks a size or two too small for the foot it's on!

It's so ugly that I could cry

What with the bags???, they are so ugly, don't like the cherries on the bags this season, but this is just...

Where is the time with the the golden clothes and the ads with naomi and co? I miss it...:(

marc jacobs makes me scared for fashion. this has been the bleakest fashion season i have ever seen. i guess this is the first one after the dubya re-election? i mean all of this darkness and heaviness. i have never been the biggest marc jacobs fan, but his collections used to effuse joy and hope and life. these clothes were made for the funeral home (although an expensive funeral home, mind you)...i mean even the bags looked like relics from the nineteenth century (vuitton does antiques roadshow?). i'm very disappointed in marc jacobs right now....he's taken the playful decadence from vuitton.

Marc Jacobs saves his best ideas for Louis Vuitton. This collection made the ideas that failed at his own line work. It's demure, classy (yet casual, as a lot of the tops are either sleeveless or three-quarter sweaters), and a great comeback from the circus show that was SS05. When one thinks of Marc Jacobs, the color black does not exactly come to mind, but I think he did it better than everybody else this season.

And I am thrilled that Eugenia Volodina opened the show. She's so stately:

These have best-seller written all over. And I absolutely love the look of a pencil skirt with a bit of bare arms:

This would look pretty fab if Polina didn't slouch:

One of the rare times when the ubiquitous egg-shaped skirt worked:
