I understand that she's an actress and it's okay to look pedestrian in that field. However, this is similar to a beauty shot and that's where the line is drawn between models and very few actresses. Some actresses can do both like Scarlett Johansson and January Jones. Alicia should stick to acting and the commercial stuff.

Ever since actresses replaced models on Vogue covers, there seems to be the belief that every actress can be a model - when it's just not the case.

Over the years, we've had plenty of movie stars who modelled for a while before moving into film - they made it look easy.

But there are many actresses who are great at their craft, who can be utterly captivating on screen - but possess all the charisma of a lump of wood on the printed page. Others are far more telegenic than they are photogenic, which leaves their fans scratching their heads when most of their covers don't look as great as they "should".

We don't expect every model to be good at acting, but somehow we're supposed to buy that the opposite is true.

I actually think this shot is one of her best for Vuitton. Maybe it's because I've been so conditioned to the awfulness and that consistently deadpan expressions in her print work across the board, campaigns and magazine covers, that my standards automatically lower each time I see her.
Can't wait for this era of Jennifer Lawrence, Alicia, and all these other actresses who at surface level doesn't seem to have a true appreciation for fashion, to be over.

I'm so sick of seeing her for LV... it makes no sense at all

Seriously, Mondino is just not it anymore...
His work is the opposite of impressive. Even Nicolas is better photographer than him today.

This is just bad. The styling, the concept, the model choice, the photography and even the jewelry. I mean they have achieve something tho if their goal is to make an unattractive and undesirable campaign.

It literally looks like harsh unretouched screenshots from a BTS video, absolutely terrible. I don't even notice the jewelry when I look at it, all I see is some dreadful and unflattering lighting with bad poses and cheap looking hair.
