The Last TV Show You Saw?

I noticed Homicide: Life on the Street is available to stream and started to watch it last night, honestly... I'm enjoying it. I haven't streamed a multi-season show in ages. Maybe I'll finally watch The Wire next.

Squid Game 2, it was ok.

I'm a bit numb to all the deaths, don't really care about any of the new characters other than 011 (what is it with Netflix and characters with that number), there's no one with anywhere near the charisma of Jung Ho-yeon and I could see the 'twist' coming a mile off, only felt bad about one death. But they did the 'game of five' really well.

I'm addicted to Homicide: Life on the Street now... listening to podcasts, finding random articles, obsessed with one of the actors from the show writing FANFICTION about his own character on f*cking Substack in 2022... It's too much!!

Nobody Wants This (this is basically Seth Cohen/Veronica Mars fanfiction brought to life also Adam Brody's filmography has some real supporting-role gems)

About to end for 10th time "Desperate Housewives" and then gonna rewatch The White Lotus 1 and 2 before the new season premiere

I watched the show The Agency on Paramount, with Michael Fassbender, Richard Gere, Jodie Turner-Smith, etc. Great cast, obviously, but also solid writing and directing. That was the first show in a long time (since 2023, anyway) that I watched faithfully 1 episode per week as they were released. Hoping they do a season 2.

Back in December, I watched Black Doves on Netflix with Keira Knightley. Highly entertaining, if a bit stupid.

re: Midsomer Murders, KoV I promise it's the most genteel murder show ever, if you like English detective stories (think Agatha Christie/Sherlock not Law&Order) you might like it, it's not a 'crime show' in the same way as those true crime shows or 'gritty' dramas.
