and the flat versions
and then these...so in love.....
I completely agree. The chubby shape really doesn't work for me.Diorling said:I hate them all, they look like high-heeled orthopedic shoes. I can't stand MJ and his little platform experiements. I hate it when the upper body wraps around the platform, as if it were one piece, it makes the shoe look so freakish. I don't like those flats either, round toe flats are very tired. If those striped flats had a point, they would be fabulous.
Maybe if I saw them on they'd be better...
Vivienne Westwood makes that look work by designing the whole thing as a fascinatingly freakish whole.Diorling said:I hate them all, they look like high-heeled orthopedic shoes. Vivienne's (and Dior) work because they're obviously platforms while these look chubby.Emery said:Vivienne Westwood makes that look work by designing the whole thing as a fascinatingly freakish whole.![]()

agreed. this heel shape and overall style of pump is my absolute favourite. did you see the ones hermès did for fall 2004? they were like this, but better...more true to the 1950's...exactly like what you'd see a 50's fashion model wearing in an old magazine...those were gorgeous, and are my dream shoe...agirlcalledk1ll said:it's my personal perfect heel shape. a bit of a platform, and a cute chunky (but not too chunky) heel.
