^ If you look through the thread you can find pretty much all of the images from the campaign; there were only a few shots. I really love that particular ad even though I&V repeated themselves by using the same concept for a (equally gorgeous) W editorial in 2005.

I was just thinking how funny it was that Marc took the risk of using M&M back when they were still relatively 'unknown' in S/S 02 and it turned out to be such a fruitful collaboration in the long term. I could never see that happening nowadays; Prada by Sebastian Kim? Lanvin by Robbie Fimmano? No way .

possibly my favorite ever shot from a Louis Vuitton campaign.

I just stumbled across a box which contains a load of Louis Vuitton advertisement clippings I used to collect, and I remember posting a horrendously grainy scan of this particular shot of Noami Campbell back in 2008, so thought I would rescan and clean it up a little. The entire F/W 06.07 campaign by Mert & Marcus was and still is.. flawless.

Thanks for posting! I wish they were slightly larger. I love the focused and straightforward apporch of the older LV campaigns.

I still can't wrap my head around the fact that M&M shot that FW 2006 ad. Its possibly one of their best work.
