very pretty. love the tweed, and necklaces and some of the florals. I hate those dresses with loads of tiers though! :(

I don't like it so much... It's a bit tacky... I was expecting more because Luella is so great :(

 what's MJ about this??. ugh. can we just leave Balenciaga and Marc Jacobs alone as references?. seriously, it's quite the trend this season. they didn't invent anything!, especially Marc Jacobs who makes shameless rip-offs from Japanese designers every single season in every single one of his pathetic, fashion-victim-y outfits. there.

back on topic, I really like this.. the styling is truly feisty and visually appealing, it has that effect of a 3-minute pop song.. it's so accessible but you can't really complain about it. thanks for posting OhJane.

a bit like chanel but i think it's a cute collection..the shoes are lovely

Thank you. I am so tired of Balenciaga comparisons on every collection.
Anywho, great description, Luella's work is kind of like a sugary pop song that isn't necessarily groundbreaking but you kind of can't help but bob your head to.

While I like Marc, I agree on the knock off thing. He has replaced Marni in the "it looks like [ ]" comments.

back to the collection. I really like the details. Yes it has that classic Chanel vibe, but the colors and the details give it a contemporary pop, which is what makes me love the collection.

Very overboard cuteness if seen as a whole (especially the pink dress! I love me some pink, but it just screams junior high school prom dress and 14 years old birthday dress...), though I see a few pieces I'd love to own. When I see the one body look, I thought I won't give the love, but I am loving every detail shot. Yummy. :flower:

I absolutely love this. the shoes are too cute! and the dresses...i love luella

The striped pieces are nice.
But I generally just don't like Luella. It's always too girly and topshop.

As well as Chanel and Marc, is anyone getting a winter Comme des Garcons vibe from the first and third looks on post #23?
