Luminous, Dewy and Healthy Looking Makeup

Try the Anna Sui face color stick in #702. It's like a whitish gold iridecent color. It works wonders for me when I want that dewy glow. I apply it on my cheekbones on top of Revlon Skin Lights Illuminator creme :flower:

I've wanted to give my skin a subtle, not flashy glow and those products like skinlights and shimmering powder in less gaudy tones look tempting, but I can't use anything with even silicone oils in them. :(

Try Chanel Vitalumieries Fluide Makeup. I use it and my skin glows like crazy!
No, really, the most natural glow ever, better than Dior in my opinion.

Hehe, Prada, Acid's right..you seem to know loads about skin care & make up! :P

Lol, well because I'm cheap, I don't buy fancy products 0- though I've found vasiline gives a really nice dewy look

ive been hearing a lot about product for the face that give your face an all over glow.. and it seems reallly interesting.. i was wondering if anyone has tried products like benefit hollywood glo, delux beauty liquid pearl, or lorac Oil-Free Luminizer.. or anything in that range...and what you think of them.

Hi XXAVYRANIXX

There already exists a similar thread :flower:

Glowy, Healty Skin thread

I'm afraid I haven't tried any of the products you mention, you might want to ask your question regarding the specific products inthe other thread?

I used to find the feeling of glow creams really uncomfortable so now I use shiny/mother of pearl powder eyeshadow instead.I put a dab down my cheekbones and nose and it works fabulously.Stays put much longer too. :flower:

What a fun topic! :flower:

I love glowing skin, but it is essential that you find products that work for you. That means trial and error.

I use a white highlighting stick slightly above the apples of my cheek to get a sparkle on my face.

Mixing baby oil with some of my facial lotion also works.

Another thing I've tried/done is mix pink glitter with my daily facial lotion. Definitely adds something.

Another trick is Vaseline... a lot of members on this board would probably excuse using it on the face, but it's a great moisturizer - and if applied correctly, it can do wonders for your complexion. Just use sparingly.

MAC's Strobe cream kinda gives you the glowy effect. You put it on under your foundation.

the new benefit product thing- hollywood glow, is supposed to be really good but when i tried it on my hand it just looked really glittery. What foundation should i use for this look????

also, to create the olsen make up look here do u suggest to wear a cheek stain under the foundation to maintain the same finish???

Ok do any of these products give u a greasy kinda look? I have dry skin that gets really oily throughout the day and I am totally against slick skin... n glow n grease is a FINE LINE... ie. little kim... I am always scared I'd look like her

Actually there is a Chanel foundation that i find really perfect to achieve that wich is called Brillance Pur, see it here: http://www.chanel.com/fb/um.php?la=en-us&lo=us&re=chanelcom&ws-action=http://um.chanel.com/product.php?chsetdefgnav%3d7%26chsetdefgnavdiv%3d13%26landing%3dm%26branding%3dfmu%26sub%3dfoun%26chnprd%3dmafmu180%26la%3den-us%26lo%3dus%26re%3dchanelcom~~~G!03DA04AA9265!5kW0r37g%2brwd%2bKllvg%3d%3d~product
You could also try to use some kind of highligter like Highbeam or Moonbeam by Benefit, just apply it to the spots on your face that get more light like cheekbones, eyebrowbone, a bit on the chin and on the cupid´s bow. Just son´t exagerate, otherwise it will make you look "fake".
