Make-up BY TERRY

I was going to buy Apple Glow from Mecca online the other day, but they had sold out! I think I'll start with the liquid blush, and keep checking back to see if the Apple Glow comes back in stock!

I just ordered By Terry Rose de Rose Sheer Liquid Blush in Fresh Rose to cheer myself up because I'm feeling sick today   Can't wait to get it!

^ Congrats on the purchase! You will love Rose de Rose. I have it in the same shade you ordered and use it continually. Whenever I put on blush the results always seem to be blotchy and/or overdone. This, however, is a snap to apply.

OH my goodness. The liquid blush is to die for :crush:

B! I'm so glad you love it - I'm sure it looks beautiful on you & hopefully you're feeling better, beautiful cosmetics certainly help  Let me know if you want swatches of anything, I have...quite a lot of the line

I met my favourite By Terry MUA last week and she helped me pick out a Light Expert (I got Rosy Light) and it's so beautiful - I've been using it sort of like a base and then adding my Lumiere Veloutee on top where I want more coverage. The Light Expert is perfect for no-makeup days because it just covers enough but doesn't look like you're wearing anything. Terry is expanding the range and there's going to be some exciting new stuff coming out, can't wait! ^_^

Could you swatch the apple glow velvet blush for me pleeeease? *bats eyelashes*

I do really love it! It's so pigmented though, I have to use a foundation brush to apply it properly! This is a picture of me from last night, I thought the blush might show up, but I don't think it really does

Yes I will definitely take some pics for you! ^_^

There are some new products coming to the Rose line, for makeup - a tinted antioxidant moisturiser and a tinted version of the Baume de Rose. Apparently they'll be out in SpaceNK from September, so I can't wait to see what they're like. I've heard there's also going to be cream shadows and more gloss colours :woot:

Miu Miu, i'll check whether they have in geneva that tinted baume de rose. I think the new arrival already sold out in my town. Thank you

yesterday i bought some more byterry goodies

usually i only use my light expert in apricot light as foundation sweeper on some areas on my face because my skin was quite flawless but lately i got breakouts and scars from it so i needed more coverage

touche veloute in cream
lumiere veloute in naturel beige

going to use them tonight :) and am sure i will love them

I saw the new tinted moisturiser today - comes in four colours and is in a pink tube similar to the rest of the rose line, but with a pump. It also has the same rose scent which I'm obsessed with....the product is divine. If I get my skin so perfect that it needs this little coverage, then I'll buy this as a reward! It seems very light - I already had foundation on so it was hard to tell but knowing my skin I would want something heavier. Why did I have to find my most perfect colour match in one of the most expensive lines?:lol:

^ Story of my life

I hope they bring the tinted moisturiser to Australia soon!

there's no info on her website about it? hopes it hit europe soon!

Not much information but you can see the packaging....and if I convert $70 to £, I also see it's about £11 cheaper to buy over there :o

I went to Mecca Cosmetica this morning & asked to try out the By Terry Light Expert. I now NEED this foundation. I didn't buy it today because I like to walk around & let it settle in to my skin to see how it goes, and #1 Rosy Light was perfect on me. Can't wait to buy it! :woot:

Here's swatches of the two Ombre Blackstar cream shadow pens I own:

Black Pearl - black base with silver glitter & shimmer
Misty Rock - coppery brown with silver glitter & shimmer

These don't crease on me though they will fade but they're very versatile because they can be worn sheerly as a base and they work very well with powder shadows (plus this helps with fading). The black tends to fade with a slightly blue tinge but I think this is common with blacks, Misty Rock becomes more taupey as it fades.

Also this is my long-promised swatch of Blush Veloutee in Apple Glow for Belowen. I remembered it more "red"...but the picture of the pot is more accurate & I do think it's one of the most natural blush colours with a great cream to powder formula.

Oooooooooooh :crush: that is going back on my shopping list ASAP
