Makeup Packaging that Breaks - Rant thread

I've had 2 eyeshadows and one bronzer compact by MAC completely shatter (the product inside crumbles into dust) - just from being in my make-up bag!! The actual packaging hasn't broken on me yet though.

My Giorgio Armani e/s closure broke without me remembering actually dropping it... so I can't close it anymore, but the e/s doesn't crumble or anything (thank god, it's the e/s that I carry with me all the time, the color is so versatile as well as the tiny mirror)

I dropped my Chanel Double Perfection Compact once. Lid broke off, I now have a seperate mirror and the part where make up and sponge are... but I bought a new compact though, DP is very convenient

I dropped my Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder Compact several times, but this one has never shown any sign of wear in all these years (!) (except for the sticker on the bottom lol)

I've had two Shiseido compacts break on me - it bugged me enough that I stopped buying them, even tho I liked the product. It's a compact, it should be self-evident that it's going to be in people's bags, pockets ect, and so should be made to be tough - but it was so flimsy :/ After the second one broke I said no more.
