Makeup Pet Peeves

-Not to generalize, but pretty much anything I see on a middle schooler! Haha. I love bright colored eyeshadow myself - I don't OWN any neutral eyeshadow - but learn to blend, ladies! Please. Also, they seem to use the black pencil liner on the lower lid thickly, not close enough to the lashline, not blended at all, not balanced on the upper lid, and basically looking like it was drawn on with a crayon. A lot of nonmiddleschoolers do that, too, actually. It's the worst.

-cat eye liner done with a pencil

-bumpy liquid liner. if you don't know how to use the stuff, it's really obvious...just don't wear it.

Mine are all eye related, because that's what I focus on most...

Interesting. I also noticed that kind of style on eyes. So what you suggest? My daily prep eye is dab on concealer around the eyes, powder it lightly, then put eyeshadow that suit my clothes at least. if I wear pink, eye also soft pink and add brown on the end of the corner, put brown black eyeliner at the upper lash. Paint the lower lid with little brush on brown colour too. Then mascara in black.

I hate that!!....This girl puts tons of uneven eyeliner then like a odd swipe of some silver....believe me...its not attractive the way she did it.

Or high school girls wearing so much makeup they look like they belong in a p*rn convention

Another peeve is sometimes I go to school and apply in the bathroom...I'm there putting makeup and someone who must have just gotten to school like everyone else and has fully applied everything already....is re-applying!!!! HELLO! How many pounds do you plan to wear? It's only been about an hour since you've applied. And its those same girls who look at their mirror, before and after class. :gross: Some days I feel like getting my makeup remover and checking to see how many towelettes it'll take to scrap through the first layer

I hate it when I see women who apply a lipliner several shades darker than their lipstick.

Icy-pale pink lipstick

"Nude" lipstick on people w. yellow teeth

Foundation caked on

the lady who works on my local chanel counter, has done that then drew them on 10x thicker and lob sided, they point in lol, looks like she is wearing stick on brows, she also uses a jet black eye liner to do it. Pmsl every time i see her they look so out of place, i thnk its bad for the counter though as i feel abit unsure buying make up from her, even if she is lovely.

i despise thin eye brows *shudders* and i mean really thin
I also hate matching eyeshadow and lipstick especially colours like hot pink- it just does not work.
since learning make-up art i have started to hate foundation on really dry skin- it looks terrible close up.
I hate the lip liner look but if you do it well and match the lipstick then it looks fantastic

I saw a hairdresser once who had ( this is true folks) pastel purple eyeshadow, lipstick and *drum roll* BLUSH! it looked so bad! pastel purple blush????? and it matched parts of her uniform hehehe poor girl

Also the shaved eyebrows then painted on.

I hate it when my mum puts on mascara. Her eyelashes are really long and she uses cheap mascara and it all ends under her eyes. It's awful! ;___; She pumps mascara too!!! AHH

everyone here seems to be in accord on the thin eyebrow thing ... honestly, what appeal do these people see in thin drawn on eyebrows? Actually, i hate tattooed on eyebrows. Period. Whether they are thin or not, it's hideous. I'm quite particular about eyebrows.

Thick, obvious foundation. I'm terrified of foundation!

Chipped nails ... if you can't be bothered to maintain your nails then don't polish them at all. I only paint my toenails 'cos they chip less than nails and I re paint them every weekend.

Lipstick colors that clash with skin color.

People who wear eye makeup when they go swimming. I always feel like telling them they look like Kiss when they get out of the pool with black streaks all over their face.

Orange makeup Orange is a color best left for Pumpkins no one looks good in it

People who are constantly putting chapstick or lip gloss on. There were atleast 4 or 5 girls in every single class in highschool that never put the wand away.

-Dark lipliner and pale/nude lipstick.
-different color face and neck.
-too oily foundation on skin, or flakey foundation caused by dry skin.
-lower lid lined with liquid eyeliner, where you see a gap between the line and lower lashes
