Marc Jacobs F/W 2015.16 by David Sims

What a stunning shot of Anthony & his son, i guess they save this campaign.

I don't know, I think roping in all these celebrities is a little desperate. Rely on the clothes, not who's wearing them?

@themarcjacobs: Each season @kegrand and @bitton literally see hundreds of girls before we decide the cast for each show. Photographed by David Sims, here is a group..."the cabine". These are some of the girls who inspired me this season. I thank them, and all the rest for their patience and hard work. They bring our clothes to life, and turn the runway into theatre.

I'm so glad for Riley!!!

Thank god for models! So happy for Amito, she's really making it big.

Happy that there are models Sadly this shoot is doing nothing for me

Glad Marc decided to put some models in the campaign, that is what they're for, no? Would of like to see Cierra Skye in this, she was perfect for the collection. Cannot see the point of putting Willow, Anthony Kiedis and his son in the campaign, ruins it for me.

I love the red background. The celebrities and the children, not so much.

This group shot does nothing to me. But I enjoy the cast! I hope the rest is better and that the costume-theatre-witch feeling translates as it felt during the runway show.

I think there are way too many people in the group photo and the whole campaign itself doesn't really do much for me IMO. Quite lackluster and I don't really get the hype.

^Varya Shutova, Issa Lish, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Riley Montana, Aamito Stacie Lagum, Sally Jonsson and Grace Simmons.

YES. Talk about deserving campaigns..if there is one girl who deserved this campaign it's the one who has been walking his shows consistently for 10.5 effing years and she's in it!

Wish it was without Hanne.
The group shot looks nice. Meisel-ish.

I think Mr. Jacobs is trying to achieve too much with this campaign... there's some kind of identity crisis... yet he is trying to hit all possible audiences... it's almost like a department store advert... I enjoy the diversity (age, race, iconic, not so iconic, etc.) but something is off...

Totally agree with you! There's just too much going on. The model shot actually pales in comparison to the rest. David Sims should lay off these crowded group shots, he's awful at it. If he tried to copy Meisel then it's a lame attempt. I'd much rather have preferred Cher, Kiedis and one or two of the models. Ditch that Smith child too while they're at it.

There is definitely waaaaay too much going on. It's like everybody and the kitchen sink. Imagine if he did just straight forward beautiful group model shots on location in a mansion upstate in a night setting with some smoke maybe even by Meisel. That would have been marvelous.

Love that Debi Mazar is a part of the cast!! I like the ads so far! With Diana Vreeland as the inspiration for the collection, I like that Marc - like Diana - is surrounding himself with and celebrating the eclectic and creative people who inspire him.

In this case, I'd rather have him skip the model group shot entirely and focus on the portraits. Who cares if celebrities are in a campaign when the celebrities are this interesting and fabulous!

Debi Mazar looks amazing in her shot, but then she's well suited to that sort of vampy/stone cold b*tch sort of look.

Funnily enough, even though I like the shot on its own, the group shot of all the models just doesn't work as well as the individual shot of the celebs, or rather, the models simply aren't as commanding as the celebrities are. Each of them, even Willow, give off a certain gravitas that, sorry to say, most of today's models couldn't manage to give off.
