You know its bad when the best parts are derived from old Prada and even Donna Karan outshines you in creativity. Something is amiss for sure. This collection reeks of neglect and disinterest.
I mean, I actually really like the lookbook shoot. It's beautiful. The individual pieces I think are fine, but this time around I do think the Prada referencing is a little too obvious. Even when he is looking to other designers for ideas he still manages to somehow make it his own...this collection doesn't quite manage to do that. I mean, it's basically Prada Spring/Summer 2001.
I love Marc, his love for Miucca it's always in some collections, I think this Resort it's very modern and very beautiful, summer melancholic days, all it's good, BUT, this is too Prada, and every season, too much copy/paste from Miucca, it's all right, but I've seen all of these in a Prada coleccition.
