This is really really good. Although I'm really reminded of John Galliano f/w 2008. I don't really care for Marc's design aesthetic but I'm sure his fans are happy that he's back to true form.

Those are not 80s football shoulder pads ,those are schiaparelli late 30s/early 40s peak shoulders, those skirts 40s style suffragette skirts .

Early '80s shoulderpads were far more subtle - they became more and more extreme as the decade progressed.

One of my all-time favourite collections from Marc, I actually scored a few of the checked blouses (made of very, very sheer cotton) and one of the glitter sashes years ago from therealreal, they're incredibly wearable. I miss his glory days
