which stam colours do you own?

just got my stam off netaporter.com the topaz one. amazing color, very springish. but my god it's so heavy, and i've been holding it around the whole weekend shopping, the chain wont stop clicking and the noise bothers me, guess i have to get use to it. and for some reason i really dislike the new patchwork version, thought the quilted were much classier, and i standby my point after did a side to side comparison in the mj store in soho. but my friend loves the patch one in cream.

oh well i hope i can handle the weight of this bag.
im curious how heavy it really is.
my bag for uni is usually about 3-4 kg (with all the books and so on) .
i guess its because you have to carry the stam in your hand isnt?
it would be nice if you could post some pics

so should i definitely go for the ivory?
mouse and ivory are my two fave colours so its hard to decide.
but i have the chance to get the ivory for a very reasonable price.
also i thought its more a summer colour - the ivory one

I love the metallic purple one. I saw that after I got my slate and was wondering if I made the right choice with the slate. The only thing is that metallic finishes tend to rub off easily

I think theres pretty much no hope I dont know whereyou would get it outside of ebay. I'm sure ones gotta come up on ebay eventually but it'll prabably be at leasy double retail. One went for like $4000 last year

GG you think it will rub off easily? my silver miumiu shoes got completly rubbed off...wouldnt u think though for a bag it would me more sturdy?
if its between a patent(brown/black) givenchy nightengale and a purple metalic stam what would u get? I have a purple spy and apurple patent ysl downtown bag..and i do have a stam bag from last season..so i dont know..

I've heard of lots of peoples metallic balenciaga bags rubbing off and my metaalic pink balen makeup bag is completly rubbed off. I'm not sure if the stam would but it's definatly a possibility.

It's a hard choice between the two. I preffer the stam but since you already have one and the other purple bags too... I think I would still go for the stam though.

I only have a regular putty, so i'm not sure about the baby sized. Also those who have them- do you like them as much as the regular size? Do they sit at a good height when you wear it, and how much can they fit?

I had a bronze stam from last year and I can confirm that the metallic does wear off FAST! In fact, I had not even used the bronze and the metallic was already chipping from the piping. I took it back to the MJ store to exchange and found that ALL of the bronze bags had the same problem. In the end, I opted to exchange for a mouse stam and I have no regrets. I would definitely stay away from metallic bags (as tempting as they may be).
