I've seen it once in a store in the city where I live. I was surprised that they had this color because I haven't seen much Stam bags here at all.

Saw the elastic stams in Tokyo. They're not very nice in real life are they? Nor those fabric/ostrich ones. I still love the originals the best! STILL can't find a black baby stam either. If anyone happens to see one...

awh...had t post again...whenever i come back t this thread, i get all semtemental and whatnot....i love my stam!!! i was cleaning the other day and putting some bags back in their sleepers, and i opened up my stam sleeper and was like 'awh!'

it's really like one of the best bags i have had the pleasure of owning. i love it!

and whenever i come into here and post, i just think of all the other stam owners who love theirs too....i wish marc would just go back to the original design and try and reissue some more jewel tones in nice soft squishy leather....none of this weird ostritch python mix...they just look like weird lil monsters...

I just finally sold my saddle stam which I had up on ebay a couple of times. The girl who won the auction is from the same city as me so she personally came over to pick it up. She was so nice and so happy that she got the bag. I'm so glad that somebody got it who actually appreciates it. She also sent me emails telling me what places she took the bag to. She is a also a tpf member by the way. We agreed to meet some time to take our stams out together.

I bought the Neiman Marcus 100th anniversary stam bag yesterday. I have yet to feel buyer's remorse but I still am shocked that I paid that much for it. It's just so pretty though. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

For anyone looking for a large array of stam bags or the bag you can't seem to find anywhere else, the NM in Orlando (Millenium? Mall) would be the place to call. They have lots of small stams, in patchwork and regular, including the berry colored one. They have the large stam in both the patchwork and the regular in many colors, including the light petrol color, they have the elastic stams in small and large in several colors, the python stam in blue, and one I've never seen before w/ different fabrics and colors on it.

For the person(s) looking for the black baby stam, they have one of those as well. I would have taken a picture of the wall but the lady was watching me like a hawk!

The color is called elephant and it has really pretty metallic trim and handles. The long chain is gold with metallic silver leather. It's v. pretty...if the metallic rubs off I'll cry!

Aww, so cute Velony I haven't been on here for a couple of weeks, but it's still one of my favourite threads. And definitely one of my favourite bags! I still use it several times a week (especially now that i've gone back to uni)- it just looks perfect with almost everything, and holds so much. I sort of like that mine is starting to look a bit well loved and shabby too

It can be our quest! You didn't get the regular black baby one on ebay the other day did you? I was sent a notification but it was already sold by the time i clicked on it (i was hopine someone good bought it). I'm hanging out for a patchwork baby now. There's one up at the moment, but it's overpriced for a second hand one i think (though i don't know- how much would you pay??)

i saw a girl with a stam on yesterday, and it looked so good on her. i think because it was all broken in. so now i have caught the stam bug (yes, i know, a year or two too late).

i'm thinking of getting one on ebay. my question is, what color do you think is the most versatile one? i'm thinking a neutral one like ivory, black, putty, taupe.
