Marella F/W 2015.16 : Karlie Kloss by Ryan McGinley

I'm in love!! Ryan McGinley can do no wrong in my eyes. Notice how much more natural and at ease Karlie seems with her surroundings, as opposed to Joan's last Porter cover feature. I feel these shots would've been perfect for a magazine, but not for a campaign. But I'll wait for the final art direction.

I feel like ive seen this already 3 times

Reminds me of a Porter magazine shoot :) I like it (mainly because of locations with the flowertrees)

Karlie is just an amazing model. She just gets it. The setting is stunning and it doesn't take over the main purpose of the shoot. The 9th shot, the close up one with the pink flowers, is my favorite. Looks like it can be a cover + a beauty ad.

It may look like an editorial, but it's good. It's very commercial, but I don't have a problem with that. I'm in love with colours here. Everything looks calmly and I get that relaxed vibe.

While it is beautiful, it's just too casual and unfocused to be a clothing campaign. The coats aren't special looking enough to warrant an ad dedicated to them. I feel like these would be more suited for a perfume ad where the clothes wouldn't be the focus,

Is this the whole campaign or are there outtakes mixed in? it looks more like an editorial than a campaign imo...
like GH said, very unfocused.

Stunning campaign, i love the concept, because is very natural & no photoshop, and Karlie looks flawless with the new re-start of this brand.

It's beautiful and lovely. I love all thes flowers and trees, the palette of colors really works here.

A welcomed departure from Milla Jovovich's over-expired presence at Marella. There's no denying Karlie or McGinley's imagery of their beauty but somehow, overall, this campaign seems inappropriate when it comes to the seasons. This is more suited for a spring/summer campaign as opposed to the winter season. A beautiful set of photos, nonetheless!

Karlie looks great here but a lot of the shots remind me of some of the past Estée Lauder ads.

Beautiful photographs, but better for an editorial than an ad campaign.
