I'm ashamed to say I haven't looked through this thread yet because Marilyn has always been my absolute favourite. Her incredible determination and willingness to improve despite a lack of support and personal security amazes and inspires me. I've always felt Marilyn was one of the most underrated women, despite being probably the most iconic female of the 20th century. She may be incredibly acclaimed as a beauty and sex symbol, but her intelligence, strength of character, and personal integrity has always been vastly undervalued.
