Indeed and they succseed spectacularly. I can understand her "unspoken" elegance and how she introduced REAL hollywood glamour but she had her hair bleached and hairline raised and wore a ton of make up alot of the time. I dont understand the fascination with her "beauty"

She was the most beautiful woman of all time as well as one of the very best of actresses. There is nothing about her that suggests a drag queen - she is the epitome of feminine! I'd like to see the man who could have such a waist-to-hip-ratio.

Many drag queens love her and want to look like her her - and who wouldn't.....they have such great taste, don't they, in both beauty icons and usernames

they actually have =) Ashley Judd played the younger more troubled Marilyn(Norma Jean), while Mira Sorvino played the glam Marilyn... it focus on MM's double identity and the struggle with her self image, it's a good movie.

... I just did a check on IMDB and I realized it was just a TV movie though.

Overrated? I don't think so. Not just anyone gets to become a hollywood legend. There's a damn good reason why she's so famous and well liked. I have seen many of her videos and I have to say there is nothing drag queen about her. She is the epitome of woman. Whatever attracts man to woman she possessed. She was so stunning she even made being a size 16 hot. You don't see any actresses these days trying to pull that off.
