I remember her quote saying that she had never been told if she was pretty even when she was a kid, and she thought that every lil girl should've been told they're pretty even if they're not. that quote makes me really sad

I really love Marilyn Monroe. it started when I was doing my personality-analysis assignments. I almost cry when I read her biography, she had an awful childhood moments that affected her personality as she grew up.

i read that quote too and it really made me feel sad. actually, everytime i remember of that quote i feel sad.
it's very hard to believe that someone so beautiful like her wasn't called pretty as a child, right?
