I want to recommend two fashion books with Marilyn that I think are fantastic.

Dressing Marilyn: How a Hollywood icon was styled by William Travilla by Andrew Hansford and Karen Homer.

Marilyn in Fashion by Christopher Nickens and George Zeno

I think she is very underrated as a fashion icon so I was happy to find that there had been fashion books written about her. I love her style so much.

We've seen a million of her in sparkly evening gowns but I find pictures like this far more inspiring. It's more authentic & I actually think she had really good, everyday street style!

I just got Dressing Marilyn; it really is a great book! I love Travilla's designs and the photos in the book are so crisp and lovely. One of my top favourite Marilyn books already for sure. B)

Fantastic, and fun article,her shape has surprised many who have come across her dresses, not as curvy apparently, that is just hard to believe for me. But i LOVE the fact she had more books than shoes, clothes.etc
