I always find Plan C very mumsy and too plain, they lack the eccentric and eclecticism from old Marni

The last six looks seem unnecessary, but the rest is better than usual, especially the mermaid skirt/dress ones. I think it is the kind of collection that I would expect Lee to do at Burberry but he failed to deliver.

I knew there was no way he could suddenly become someone else and produce something decent.. this looks more like the result of an unpleasant call from the suits where he had to make a choice between more gimmicks or silly but easy to sell junk, and he chose.. to keep his job..

I really loved this collection! It was much more pared down compared to his previous offering for the house and I think that's a good thing.

i didn't like the beginning with the tight pedal-pushers and tiny jackets
however, once the volume and textures ramp up, the collection transforms into something truly lovely
the piano music & presentation were both great

I just noticed the Galliano brows.

I picked up some Marni Uomo SS 25 at the Marni boutique here. I was in the boutique w/ NFL players trying on the same stuff... I got a jacket and 2 shirt options. The pant and short options weren't for me and are very young. I might order the crossbody over text...

Marni is going to be huge. These clothes are incredible quality, well priced and a new look.

I wonder if Marni sells at all these days? The quality is very poor but I am only familiar with some of the shirts with the flowers from like 2 seasons ago and the bucket like bag, museum. No wonder there is zero hype about this brand

I remember there being an article from 2021 saying that sales went up by €1m in the space of 4 years (the brand makes around €170m in revenue). I imagine that OTB is probably focusing on other brands like Diesel, JS and MM.

Oh I can't imagine it selling well, they have much better competitors. I mean I havent seen any people recently that love fashion or associate themselves with style wearing Marni anything ( no offence to anyone in the thread that does like Marni). their website and on net a porter offer a very poor selection of products that no sane person would find desirable. I thought Siriano and Plein shows were bad but marni wins every time lol.

I wore the Marni stuff to valentines in the Bahamas.

My husband only cares about me being out of clothes so I was dressing for myself. Which tbh is the only way to do it….

… we arrived Friday. I wore the Marni contrast back button down with Hermes cotton pants. With coordinating MM Replicas.

… We had dinner on the beach - I wore a lace Dolce shirt with YSL tuxedo pants…

On saturday. I wore the Marni oversize denim polo shirt over a James Perse t shirt and black Hermes cotton pants. Great outfit for the windy water. The layers were so comfortable I didn’t need to change at all going through the temps and winds of the day…

we didn’t leave the room on Sunday.

On Monday to come back I was sore so I wore a Hermes tracksuit. I know my husband well so I knew I’d need a comfortable look to come back.
