loserunit, Marpessa is a former model who did the campaign for Dolce & Gabbana back in 1988. I'm not sure what she looks like nowadays but back then she was "pretty hot."

I was very fond of her during her heyday as a model. She reached her peak in the early 1990s. She was never a "supermodel", but she was a contemporary of the supermodels.
She was one of the favorite models of Gianni Versace, and she was a staple of his runway shows in the early 1990s. Marpessa was mainly a runway model, and she had a very distinctive presence in runway shows.
Some of the other designers she modeled for in that era were: Chanel, Oscar De La Renta, Christian Dior, Genny, Lanvin, and Claude Montana.

Here she is (on the left) with the late Gianni Versace, along with Christy Turlington and Gail Elliot.

Unfortunately, there aren't many pictures of her available on the internet, given that her heyday was in the pre-internet days of the early 1990s.

I searched in TFS and only found her at 1990's models thread.
She is a famous and beautiful model working since the 1980's,known as "Marpessa"
She deserves her own thread, for those who should like to post editorials,etc.
