Mary Katrantzou S/S 2013 London | the Fashion Spot

Mary Katrantzou S/S 2013 London

I think I am geting tired of this girl, she uses the same idea over and over again Yawm!.

Well she definitely played more with silhouette this season, applying her trademark prints to different separates for a change.. unfortunately a number of these silhouettes were very clearly past-season Celine and the others I just generally did not like.
Still, it's always good to see something new from a designer.

Nice collection, but it seems to me like a modern version of the Versace.

I really like the nostalgia of the stamp print (I still love to receive hand written letters, and I love to send them too), but some of the silhouettes posted thus far do look a tad boxy.

i'm a huge fan of mary but i hate this. the prints are totally not my taste and most of the outfits are truly unflattering, which is made worse by the prints. i'm disappointed, i was so looking forward to this

In addition to my previous comment, I found it very interesting how Katrantzou used the cut of garments to compliment her prints (in that order) and I thought the interesting metallic print on the tailored garments were a good direction to go in, and were indeed my favourite pieces.

I'm in love with almost every look. These are some of the best prints that she's produced imo.

^I agree. Also on a thematic level within a conceptual context this collection evolved beautifully, from stamps to money from day to night and from hard to soft. LOVES

I see Versace S/S 2011 in the prints... only this is a million times better!!!

It's wonderful how Mary does something different every season, but you can still see it is only her aesthetic!
