i shouldn't have expected anything more, but i saw bcbg and thought we might actually see this eponymous collection say something, also, but, instead, we get a flat redux of every so-called and so-envisioned trend piece possible. unfortunately, when minimalism is a trend, it's not something you can just fake. you can't wing it. if you don't do it right, it just looks bland. and this does.
